SIGN UP <a href=\"https:\/\/www.signupgenius.com\/go\/5080848A4A62EA6FF2-57995248-volunteer#\/\" title=\"\">HERE!<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ptamckinley.org\/en\/mustang-social-spring-fundraiser\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">JOG-A-THON!<\/a>&nbsp; &#8211; Various shifts on October 3, 2025 (and leading up to the event)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our Jog-a-thon will take place on October 3, 2025 at McKinley School from drop off until lunch!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We need volunteers for the days leading up to the event and shifts throughout the day<\/strong> of the event to secure corporate sponsors, set up, manage flair tables, manage snacks\/drinks, count laps, help with event check in\/checkout, cleanup and most importantly PUMP THE KIDS UP!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.signupgenius.com\/go\/5080848A4A62EA6FF2-57995248-volunteer#\/\">Sign up now<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ptamckinley.org\/en\/get-involved\/lunch-duty-volunteers-needed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Recess and Lunch<strong> <\/strong>Volunteers<\/a>!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Volunteer for recess (10:05 \u2013 10:45 am) or lunchtime (11:45 am \u2013 1:00pm) supervision (just once OR more if you\u2019d like).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Volunteers will support recess and\/or lunchtime eating\/recess for 1st through 8th graders (parents of TK and K also welcome to volunteer). Our award-winning McKinley &amp; PACS PTA provides resources and support programs, including experiential learning, bilingual instruction, classroom supplies, school community events, and much more and we have a fantastic time doing it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As we start planning the current school year, we\u2019re looking for energetic and dedicated individuals to help fill PTA committee positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ptamckinley.org\/en\/pta-positions-and-descriptions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>A full description of the roles and responsibilities can be found here<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are interested in any of these roles \u2014 or you would like to nominate someone \u2014 please email us at <a href=\"mailto:mckptapres@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>mckptapres@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a> and let us know!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You may also volunteer the classroom<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check with your student\u2019s teacher if they need help stuffing Wednesday folders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check with your student\u2019s teacher if they need any help in the classroom.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be part of the Art Docent program. Contact the front office 707-778-4750, dcannon@petk12.org to see if help is needed in your student\u2019s classroom teaching art classes (no prior knowledge of art required)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In the school<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Volunteer to guard the crosswalk in the morning or at pick up time: Position requires, in addition to exquisite punctuality and dependability, standing at the crosswalk by McKinley\u2019s main entrance and aiding students in crossing safely; 30-minute commitment per shift (email ldonahue@Petk12.org to ask for details).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Volunteer to facilitate the maker space one morning a week (11:45-1pm): Position requires setting up the maker space and helping students get supplies to build their creations. Contact the front office 707-778-4750, dcannon@petk12.org.
