Our successful fundraising efforts allowed us to support of our school community in very meaningful ways. Below are a few highlights:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Provided funding for a <strong>Bilingual Instructional Assistant<\/strong> and a <strong>Physical Education Teacher<\/strong> for the lower grades<\/li><li>Our Family Engagement committee hosted a <strong>Zumba night<\/strong>, <strong>Bingo night<\/strong>, and monthly <strong>Intercultural Caf\u00e9s<\/strong>. They also <strong>coordinated recess playground volunteers<\/strong> to give our teachers more time for lesson planning.<\/li><li>Funded <strong>signage to help direct traffic in front of the school<\/strong> at pick up and drop off<\/li><li>Provided <strong>Teacher Supply Funds<\/strong> for all McKinley\/PACS teachers<\/li><li>Coordinated several <strong>Staff Appreciation events<\/strong> throughout the school year<\/li><li>Purchased <strong>site license of Reflex Math<\/strong> app<\/li><li>Provided funding for our <strong>Performing Arts<\/strong> program\u2019s performance of the <strong>Lion King<\/strong><\/li><li>Funded visits to our campus from the <strong>Bay Area Discovery Museum Try-It Truck<\/strong> and <strong>Classroom Safari<\/strong><\/li><li>Hosted community engagement events like the <strong>Winter Festival<\/strong>, <strong>Ancestor&#8217;s Table<\/strong> and the <strong>Parent Education Night<\/strong> Block Party<\/li><li>Provided funding for a <strong>new playground<\/strong> to be installed on campus this summer!<\/li><li>And much more! <a href=\"https:\/\/ptamckinley.org\/en\/pta-accomplishments\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Read a full list of our accomplishments here.<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We would like to thank all our McKinley\/PACS families for their <strong>support through donations and volunteer hours<\/strong> throughout the school year.
