Thank you for joining us at our Spring Fundraiser last night. We traveled back in time and celebrated in each other’s company like we haven’t been able to do in a few years while raising much needed funds to support McKinley\/PACS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Missed out on the festivities? Raffle tickets are still available until Friday and an Online Auction Opens Up Later This Week!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Raffle tickets for teacher experiences and class artwork are will be available in front of the school at pick-up time until this Friday, May 20th. 1 ticket for $1, 5 tickets for $3. You can still sign up to volunteer to sell tickets here: <\/strong>http:\/\/bit.ly\/McKSpringVol<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will also be launching a Online Silent Auction<\/strong> later this week. Watch your inbox for a ParentSquare alert and follow the McKinley PTA Facebook page<\/a> to be the first to know when it launches!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We would like to express our thanks to our fundraiser committee who spent countless hours over the last several months planning a very memorable event: Renee McArdle, Alisha Basich, Channon Cederna, Nina Jarnum, Erin Schlueter, and Chantel Smith.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you also to all the families and businesses who donated items for our auction directly and to those who helped us collect donations through their personal networks and by going door-to-door to local businesses. We couldn’t have done this without you!

\u2022 Financial Secretary
\u2022 VP of Fundraising<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recess and Lunch Volunteers – One shift a week for the month of May<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Volunteer just one recess (10:05 \u2013 10:45 am) or lunchtime (11:45 am \u2013 1:00pm) per week (more or less if you\u2019d like).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volunteers will support recess and\/or lunchtime eating\/recess for 1st through 8th graders (parents of TK and K also welcome to volunteer). You will assist during two timeframes, 1st \u2013 3rd grade, and\/or 4th \u2013 8th grade*.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

School of Excellence Follow-up Survey<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As you may know, the PTA is participating in the National PTA School of Excellence Program this year.  School of Excellence is a designation offered by National PTA to recognize schools that seek to grow partnerships between PTAs and schools to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being of all students.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
