Calendar of Events

7th grade students will take the California Assessment of Student Progress and Performance (CAASPP) next week from Monday, 5/12 to Friday, 5/16.

REMINDERS: 

1. Please minimize (non-illness related) absences during this week, as make-up tests are long, and pull students from core instructional time when they return.

2. It is crucial that students bring a fully charged Chromebook each day for testing. PCS issued Chromebooks have the necessary secure testing browser installed, and students must take the tests on these computers. We would be so grateful if you could remind them each day next week to bring their device fully charged each day. 

3. Headphones are required for certain parts of the test. We have headphones available for students to use, but students are encouraged to bring their own headphones if possible. Corded headphones that plug into the computer are required. NO Bluetooth headphones are allowed. 

4. Students are welcome to bring snacks to help boost their energy. No energy drinks are allowed. 

5. Phones and smartwatches must be turned off and left in lockers during testing. 

6. Most importantly, the students don't need to stress or worry about testing. It's the easiest thing they've done all year.
