The Staff Appreciation Committee is gathering quotes about distance and hybrid learning to share with the teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. We need quotes from all grades.

Attention 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Families!
This trimester the 6th-8th grade classes are coming together to show our teachers appreciation and thanks and the Staff Appreciation Committee is collecting funds for a special celebration for our teachers .
If you are able to, you can donate on the PTA website by selecting the “Staff Appreciation Fund” on the donation form, or drop off cash at the school office by Thursday, April 29.
The suggested donation is $10, but donations of any size are welcomed.
PTA Elections are May 12.

Are you looking for ways to connect with other families and help McKinley at the same time? You’re in luck as we are still recruiting PTA board members for the 2021-2022 school year.
Whether your hobbies include calculating the rent costs for apartments you see on TV down to the penny, cat herding, or wandering the folder aisle at Office Depot, there is a place for you on our board.
Here are the open positions:

- Co-President (Executive Vice President–Membership)
- VP of Fundraising
- Financial Secretary
**Per 501c3 rules, we MUST have a President, Treasurer, and Secretary in order to function as a PTA.

Got Auction Items?
We are still collecting auction items for the Mustang Social. Gift cards from local restaurants and businesses can still be dropped off at the office this week.
You can also donate a cash amount for us to use to purchase items from Petaluma businesses to include in the online auction.
Have other items you can donate?
Email if you have any items (wine, gift baskets, art, sports tickets etc.), vacation homes, experiences or buy-in event connections you can donate.
