Thank you for supporting our Spring Fundraiser

Thank you for joining us at our Spring Fundraiser last night. We traveled back in time and celebrated in each other’s company like we haven’t been able to do in a few years while raising much needed funds to support McKinley/PACS.

Missed out on the festivities? Raffle tickets are still available until Friday and an Online Auction Opens Up Later This Week!

Raffle tickets for teacher experiences and class artwork are will be available in front of the school at pick-up time until this Friday, May 20th. 1 ticket for $1, 5 tickets for $3. You can still sign up to volunteer to sell tickets here: http://bit.ly/McKSpringVol

We will also be launching a Online Silent Auction later this week. Watch your inbox for a ParentSquare alert and follow the McKinley PTA Facebook page to be the first to know when it launches!

We got by with a little help from our friends

We would like to express our thanks to our fundraiser committee who spent countless hours over the last several months planning a very memorable event: Renee McArdle, Alisha Basich, Channon Cederna, Nina Jarnum, Erin Schlueter, and Chantel Smith.

Thank you also to all the families and businesses who donated items for our auction directly and to those who helped us collect donations through their personal networks and by going door-to-door to local businesses. We couldn’t have done this without you!

We would also like to thank all our volunteers who have helped with logistics over the last couple of weeks, including raffle ticket sales and yesterday at the event: Julie Petersen, Ani Larson, Alicia Callejas, Chris Lum, Emily Oh, Min Lai, Cate Bruce-Low, Jen Hundley, Kim Fowler, Courtney Wolfe, Tina Rice, Natalie Derenzy, Amy Eden, Monica Roney, Kris Ahmed, Parrie Wolfe, Tracie Hankerson, Trisha Young, Rick Young, Carrie Harrison, Joe Stern, Maricela Rangel, Anna Coopersmith, John Churchman, Melissa Lue, Clarke Pomeroy, Noelle Mullen, and countless others who showed up when needed to help our community.

Last, special gratitude goes out to our event sponsors Twin Oaks and What a Chicken.

Recess Playground Volunteers Wanted!

Do you want to help your teacher in a fun and rewarding way?

In a recent survey of McKinley staff, the #1 ask was for more parent support. One of the ways staff identified we could help is by volunteering out on the blacktop during recess and lunch, allowing staff more time to focus on meeting the complex needs of their students.

Just one recess (10:05 – 10:45 am) or lunchtime (11:45 am – 1:00pm) per week (more or less if you’d like), one-month commitment to start. We welcome a longer commitment.

Click here to sign up – grab a friend to join you, or plan to make new friends!
