It’s Teacher Appreciation Week, May 3 to May 7!
This is the week where students and parents can celebrate and appreciate all that the teachers and staff do for us at McKinley School.
We have gathered some ideas of things you can do everyday to show your appreciation. You certainly do not have to do any of these things or do them everyday.
Support McKinley by Enrolling Your Child in a Wise Girl Summer Fun Workshop
Crafts, Games, and Activities focused on having fun, making friends, wellness, and building strong, confident girls. Includes go at your own pace fitness sessions with Certified Personal Trainer, Tina Parrish.
Enroll your child in a Wise Girl Summer FUN Workshop and 10% of the proceeds will go to McKinley School.
Mention “McKinley School” when you purchase. This fundraiser is ongoing through the entire month of May.

Join the Board!
Are you looking for ways to connect with other families and help McKinley at the same time? You’re in luck as we are still recruiting PTA board members for the 2021-2022 school year.
Whether your hobbies include calculating the rent costs for apartments you see on TV down to the penny, cat herding, or wandering the folder aisle at Office Depot, there is a place for you on our board.
Here are the open positions:
- President**
- Co-President (Executive Vice President–Membership)
- VP of Fundraising
- Financial Secretary
**Per 501c3 rules, we MUST have a President, Treasurer, and Secretary in order to function as a PTA.

Thank you so much for all your donations to our spring fundraiser. You can now preview the items by visiting www.themustangsocial.com. You can also register so you are ready to bid once the auction starts. New items will be added throughout the next week.
The auction will go live Wednesday, May 12 at 5pm and end Sunday, May 16th at 9pm !
